MARCEILE B McCOSH, 74, of South Randolph Street died at 9:48 am Tuesday in Lutheran Hospital Fort Wayne where she had been a patient for 10 days.
Friends may call from 2-5 and 7-9 pm today at McKee-Miles Funeral Home where services will be held at 10:30 am Friday. Rev Evan Farmer pastor of Altarstar United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Chapel Cemetery.
A lifetime resident of the area Mrs McCosh was born Oct 11, 1909 at St Johns DeKalb County the daughter of the late Arthur and Alda Miller Housel.
She and Silas McCosh were married Sept 29, 1927. He preceded her in death.
Mrs McCosh was employed at Electric Motors for 23 years retiring in 1970. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary both in Garrett and the Eagles Auxiliary in Albion.
Survivors include two daughters Mrs Donald (Dorothy) Gall of South Franklin Street and Mrs Richard (Betty) Surfus of East Keyser Street; two sons James of Garrett and Paul of Auburn; 12 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
One son Gerald preceded her in death.
