U.S. Navy retired LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Mr. Robert M. Bussey Sr., 82, of Forest Lake Drive, died Friday at Eisenhower Medical Center. Graveside services will be held Sunday, May 18, 2003, at 3 p.m., at Salem Baptist Cemetery with military honors. Mr. Bussey was born in Modoc. He was a veteran of WW II and retired from the U.S. Navy. He was a resident of Lincoln County for the past 29 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Bussey and his daughter, Maxine Johnson. Survivors include sons, Robert M. Bussey Jr., North Augusta, Shaw Bussey, Hazzard, Ky., Christopher Bussey, the Netherlands, Raymond Bussey, North Augusta and Danny Bussey, Lincolnton; daughters, Faye Simpson, Appling, Bobbie Scroggins, Lincolnton, Cindy Higgins, Martinez, Donna Bussey, Augusta; brothers, James Bussey, Appling; sister, Marjorie Foss, Fargo, N.D.; 26 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
