On Nov. 12, 1950, he married Donna Ray in Columbia, and she survives.
Aubrey was an ordained Assemblies of God minister for more than 50 years, recently serving as the minister of pastoral care and counseling at First Assembly of God Church in Columbia. He will be remembered as a loving husband and father who adored his grandchildren.
Aubrey is also survived by his children, Donetta Hollis of Montgomery, VT; Linda Lipman of Atlanta; John Grindstaff of Van Lear, KY; and Mark Grindstaff and Richard Grindstaff, both of Columbia; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers; and two sisters.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Carson; one grandson, Joshua Lipman; and one son-in-law, Steve Finke.
Services will be June 30, at First Assembly of God Church in Columbia officiated by Pastor Tracy Cook. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
