Nellie P. Wallace, 84, died Thursday, Aug. 15, at the home of her son, Ermine Wallace, near Forest City, Mo. She was the widow of Robert Wallace.
Born Oct. 24, 1895, near Napier, she was a lifelong resident of Holt count. She was a member of the Forest City Baptist Church.
In addition to her son with whom she resided, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Cecil Oyerly, St. Joseph, and Thelma Ferbert, California; three brothers, Levi Coats, Amazonia, Howard Coats, Union Star, and Harold Coats, California; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Services were conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, at the Pettijohn & Eiser funeral Home, Oregon, with Paul Buckles officiating.
Burial was in the Benton Cemetery, near Forest City.
