Rosemary Tomb, 90, formerly of Greensburg, died Friday, April 29, 2016, at Arc at Twin Valley, Delmont. She was born March 13, 1926, in Beatty, a daughter of the late James N. and Lillian (Bridge) Morrison. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg. Rosemary enjoyed family, flowers, reading, traveling and the beach at Stone Harbor, N.J. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Allen B. Tomb, Sept. 13, 2012; and five brothers, Charles, Paul, James, Richard and Hugh Morrison. She is survived by two sons, Patrick Tomb and his wife, Judy, of Pine Grove, and Hugh Tomb and his wife, Sharon, of Penn Township; a daughter, Mimi Butler and her husband, Michael, of Penn Township; four grandchildren, Casey Butler (Marla), Dillon Butler (Allyson), Allysa Tomb and Haley Tomb; a sister, Patricia MacFadden, of Avon, Conn.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton St., Greensburg. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Vincent Basilica. Everyone please go directly to the Basilica for the Mass. Interment will follow in St. Vincent Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Arc at Twin Valley for the tender care they provided to their mother. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Viaquest Hospice 610 Park Ave., Monongehala, PA 15063. www.bachafh.com.
