Mr. Rick Buckley, age 53, of Fair Play, Mo., passed away Saturday, July 8, 2006, in his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born February 17, 1953, in Springfield, Mo., to Louis and Mary Buckley.
He graduated from Central High School in 1971. On May 7, 1976, he was united in marriage to Amy Tadlock and to this union two sons were born. He was an auto body and paint repairman for over 35 years.
His father preceded him in death. Rick is survived by his wife of 30 years, Amy Buckley of the home; his mother, Mary Buckley of Bolivar; two sons and their wives, Ricky and Angie Buckley of Republic, and Chad and Monika Buckley of Richland, Mo.; four grandchildren: Dylan and Wyatt Buckley of Republic, Mo., and Sarah and Bryan Buckley of Richland, Mo.; as well as several other relatives.
Funeral services for Rick Buckley were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 13, 2006, in Pitts Chapel with Rev. Donnie Smith officiating.
