Lydia D. Rager
Last evening at 9:30 occurred the death of Mrs. Lydia D. Rager, at her borne on Keeling avenue, Elmadale, Derry. She had been confined to her bed since August. She was born in Indiana county, on October 6, 1862, a daughter of John and Nancy Morgan. She has lived in Derry since her marriage to Mr. Rager, who died on August 13th. Her son. Robert M., died on October 17th, in Cleveland. She was aged 70 years, 10 months and 14 days. Carcinoma was the caused of death. She is survived by six children—Mrs. C. W. Penrose, of McKees Rocks: Mrs. B. F. Woods, of Derry; Mrs. W. N. Ankney, of Latrobe; W. Owen of Blairsville; H. Lyle, of Derry township, and Carl, at home. Four sisters survive—Mrs. Ida McGaughey, of Josephine; Mrs. Anna Donahey, of Indiana county; Mrs. Belle Ferguson, of Arkon, O., and Mrs. Sarah McKee, of Ashtabula, O. The first three sisters are triplets. Twenty eight grand children also survive. She was a member of the M. Funeral services will be held from her late residence Monday afternoon at 2:30 with Rev. F. J. Sparling' In charge Interment will follow in the Derry cemetery.
