Addie was the 7th child of Etheldred Harris Blalock and Mary Anderson Blalock, Addie's mother died when she was 16 months old and Dred couldn't take care of her so he sent her to live with her aunts Becky and Louvina Anderson until she was grown and married. She married Richard Sentelle,addie raised their 9 children while Dick taught school and preached in several churches in the area, after Dick's death in 1934 addie satyed on at their home until her death at age 91.
