Mrs. Carrie Adelhardt of 203 Hazel St, Troy, Illinois, died July 6, 1976, at 4 a.m., in St. Joseph's Hospital, Highland. She was born March 19, 1892, in St. Jacob Township, and married Frank Adelhardt on April 24,1912, in Marine. Surviving are two sons, Lester Adelhardt of Troy, and Clarence Adelhardt, of rural Edwardsville, one daughter, Mrs. "William (Laverne) Buehrer, of Troy, one sister, Mrs. Walter (Alice) Spengel, of Troy, eight grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Adelhardt was a member of the Frieden's E and R Church, in Troy, the Women's Guild, and Moose Lodge 1516, Edwardsville. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Wednesday at Edwards Funeral Home in Troy. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Frieden's E, and E. Church, with the Revs. Rodney Wells and R. H. Mornhinweg officiating. Interment will be at the Friedens Cemetery, Troy.
