She is survived by two sons, Raymond H. Worst Jr., and William (Billy) S. Worst, a daughter-in-law, Jana Hendrix Worst, grandchildren: Evan Raymond Worst, Bethany Joann Hurley, and Jessica Anne Hurley, her sister, Mary Anne Hinely, of Augusta, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Frances was very active in the St. Simons Island Presbyterian Church where she served in many leadership roles, including teaching Sunday School, serving as an Elder and Deacon, and chaired numerous committees paving the way for other women to do so. She was very active in the YWCA, and served in many roles, including President, through the years. Frances was also active with PTA during her children's school years, and had a Lunch Bunch group with college and school friends. She spent her latter years in Magnolia Manor, developing many friendships with the staff and residents.
Frances was very loving and caring. She will be greatly missed by all, yet we rejoice that she is now with Jesus and reunited with her husband and loved ones.
Services will be held Monday July 13th, at 11:00 am, Saint Simons Presbyterian Church, with reception to follow in the social hall.
