Mrs. Reid was born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Eupha Leon and Lula Durham Cochran. She was a homemaker and a member of Edwards Road Baptist Church.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Reid was preceded in death by brothers, William Cochran and J. T. Leon Cochran and sisters, Pauline Kelley, Bethel Fendley and Frances C. Argo.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3PM Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Dillard Funeral Home in Pickens with funeral services following at 3 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens in Pickens.
