Michael Wayne Cox, age 72 of Kyle, TX died June 30, 2015 at Christus Santa Rosa Westover Hills Hospital in San Antonio, TX. Michael was born August 13, 1942 in Lampasas, TX the son of George Washington Cox and Ora Faye (Wilson) Cox.

He served his country in the U.S. Air Force for over 20 years until his retirement as a MSGT. After Michael’s retirement he worked for the Federal Aviation Administration in mechanical communications. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include wife, Alicia Cox; Sons, Mike Cox Jr. and Lance Croix Francisco Ybarra, Zackary Devrow, and Robert Devrow; daughters, Mary Alice Murphy, Susie R. Chapa, and Rebecca Ann Cox; Brother, Mark Cox; Sisters, Carolyn Morrison and Nancy Borum, and numerous grandchildren

Michael was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services for Mr. Cox will be held Tuesday July 7, 2015 at 10:00a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Kempner Cemetery in Kempner, TX.
