CURTIS JACKSON
July 8, 1912 ~ February 8, 1996

Curtis Jackson, 83, of the Goodwater community, died Thursday at his home. He was born July 8, 1912, in the Goodwater community.

Jackson was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. He was a retired county employee and a member of the Goodwater Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Richard Carter.

Survivors include his wife, Dimple Jackson of Goodwater; one son, Charles Jackson of Goodwater; two daughters, Juanita Carter of Parkhill and Sally Brittain of Goodwater;

Seven grandchildren, Kevin Brittain, Kristie Brittain, Bill Carter, David Carter, Dennis Carter, Karen Carter and Pam Speaks; and five grandchildren, Richard Curtis Carter, Amanda Carter, Derek Carter, Keith Speaks and TO Speaks.

Graveside services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Philadelphia Cemetery with Dick Logan officiating.
