D. A. JACKSON DIED MONDAY

GOODWATER, Nov. 1. --- Funeral services were held at 3:30 p. m. Tuesday at the Philadelphia cemetery near here for Dennis Andrew Jackson, 73-year-old pioneer resident of the Goodwater community, who died at his home Monday afternoon.

Rev. W. W. Starnes of Idabel officiated and burial was made under direction of Coffey Funeral home.

Mr. Jackson was born on February 7, 1871, in Arkansas, and had resided here about 40 years.

He was a member of the Haworth Masonic lodge.

Surviving are his wife; four sons, Walter, Fate and Curtis Jackson, Goodwater, and George Jackson, Eagletown; three daughters, Mrs. Emma Last, Golden; Mrs. Bessie Lester, Houston, Texas, and Mrs. Lucy Nichols, Shinewell; one brother, Allen Jackson, Idabel, Rt. 1; 31 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
