Jennie B. Covert Short Neal, 79, died Saturday morning, November 19, in a local rest home, following an illness.
She was born July 3, 1909 in Ammon to Joseph and Nellie Walker Covert. She attended schools in Idaho Falls, and for the past 60 years made her home in Pocatello.
She married Clifford R. Green December 10, 1932 at Logan, Utah. They later divorced. She married Charles Short January 17, 1966 in Pocatello. He died February 15, 1969. On October 15, 1973 she married Fay O. Neal.
She was a member of the LDS Church and enjoyed flowers and fishing.
Survivors include her husband of Pocatello; a son, Virgil D. Green, Phoenix, Arizona; three daughters, Nadine Kidney, Patsy Coffin, Mrs. William T. (Gale) Nalley; a brother, Ray Covert; two sisters, Madelyn Howard and Rose McGhuey, all of Pocatello; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers, three sisters, and a grandson.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Inkom Cemetery with George Nalley officiating.
