Albert, a former resident of Janesville and Edgerton and vicinities, died at 7:30 pm Wednesday [August 18 or 11th, 1943], South Beloit, his daughter, Mrs. Ted Benson's home, where he had resided the past year. Death followed a stroke, two hours previously. Albert operated farms near Edgerton, until a few years ago, moving to Janesville. When his health started failing, he moved to his daughters home, Mrs. Edith Benson, in South Beloit. Survived by 4 sons and 4 daughters, 9 grandchildren and four brothers, John, Otto, Julius and William, all of Edgerton. He was preceded in death by one grandchild, James Topel and two sisters.
