Charles was born in Sandhems Parish in Skaraborgs Lan, Wd Sweden. He married Ulrika Swensdotter in Sweden and they had three sons; Albert Gustaf, John Emil and Carl Robert. They came to the US in 1869. The group they traveled to the US with, settled in Bucklin, MO. Ulrika died in Bucklin, MO in 1870. Charles married a widow, Anna Louise Lindberg in 1871. They had three children, Ellen, Alice and Joseph all born in Missouri. Anna Louise had 4 children from a previous marriage: Peter, Fred, Charley, and Anna Lindberg.
Charles Lundblade and his family traveled to Kansas in a covered wagon in 1878 with several other families from Bucklin, setteling in the Kackley area.
Charles helped build the Ada Luthern Church. Anna died in 1900. Charles married Augusta Lund in 1901. They lived their final years in Courtland.
