On Monday the sad intelligence was announced of the death of Mrs. Mary E., wife of DeWitt C. Talmage, of pneumonia. Mrs. Talmage was the daughter of the late Albert Hedges. She is survived by her husband and three children, two girls and a boy. The funeral was largely attended at the Presbyterian Church on Wednesday afternoon, the Rev. James Robinson officiating. The tokens of love in the form of floral tributes covered the casket. Among them were two large pieces, one from the Masonic Lodge and one from the Odd Fellows. The burial was at Cedar Lawn.
