Jesse "School Boy Anderson Sr., 85, of Momence Meadows Nursing Center, died Friday, Feb. 21, 2003 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Tuesday until the 10 a.m. services at the Jones Funeral Home in Kankakee. Rev. Charles Brown will officiate.
Burial will be in the Momence Cemetery.
Mr. Anderson was a retired construction worker.
He was born July 28, 1917 in Mississippi the son of Rev. Joe and Emily Anderson.
His wife, the former Ethel McKinney, whom he married April 3, 1962 is deceased.
Surviving are four sons and two daughters-in-law, James Anderson and Joe Anderson, both of Chicago, Jesse Jr. and Candy Anderson of Bourbonnais, Daniel Anderson of St. Louis, Mo, Judy Anderson of Chicago; one stepdaughter, Carrie and Willie Glenn of Momence; 22 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
One aunt, Rose Brown, is deceased.
He enjoyed fishing.
