Junior Wayne Anderson, 59, of Ashland, KY., passed away at his residence on June 25, 2015.

He was born on December 6, 1955, in Pikeville, KY., to Lon and Imogene Fuller Anderson.

Wayne was a construction superintendent for Jarrett Construction and was an Air Force Veteran.

He is survived by his wife Betty Anderson of Ashland, a son, Matthew Anderson of Ashland, daughters, Misty Johnson of Flatwoods, KY., and Michelle Anderson of Ashland, KY., brothers, Ricky (Peggy) Anderson of Pikeville, KY., Roger Anderson of Pikeville, KY., and Donnie (Angie) Anderson of Scottsville, KY., and grandchildren, Gabriel Simmons and Noah Anderson.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at Steen Funeral Home-13th Street Chapel, with Pastor Eddie Murray and Reverend Ricky Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East, with military rites provided by Kenova American Legion Post #93.
