Margaret Marie Baker, 93, of Ellensburg, died Tuesday, February 2, 1999, at Royal Vista Care Center in Ellensburg. She was born March 22, 1905, in Canyon City, Colorado, the daughter of Dean and Margaret (Haas) LeGrange.
Margaret attended Western State College, where she received her teaching certificate. She married David Baker in 1925, shortly after they moved to the northwest. In 1949, they bought a ranch in Ellensburg, where she and David raised hay and cattle until David's retirement in 1980.
She was a member of Eastern Star, Federation of Women Clubs and the Cattlemen's Association.
Her daughter Patricia Belsaas; and three granddaughters, Katherine Wiggins, Lauri Emmert and Julie Maguson survive Margaret.
Cremation arrangements handled by Steward and Wilhem's Funeral Directors and Crematory in Ellensburg.
