Havana - Arnold W. Niederer, 85, former Chandlerville resident, died at 10:30 p.m. Thursday in Mason District hospital. Prior to entering the hospital he had resided in Watkins Nursing Home.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Chandlerville cemetery, with Rev. John Beiderwieden officiating.
Born January 27, 1878 in Chandlerville, he was the son of Arnold and Anna Friederich Niederer. He never married. He was confirmed at Chandlerville March 18, 1894. Mr. Niederer was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church, Havana.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Two sisters and four brothers are deceased.
