. Services for Marvin "Junior" Adair, 82, Holdenville, were held June 13, 2002 at 2 p.m. at Holdenville's First Baptist Church. Burial followed at Holdenville Cemetery.
Mr. Adair died June 10, 2002. He was born in rural Holdenville Oct. 31, 1919, to Marvin and Golden Adair. He lived in and around Holdenville most of his life. He had been an oilfield worker.
He married Jo Stelter July 19, 1942, in Michigan.
Survivors include his wife, Jo, of the home; five children, Pat Whitehead, Somerville, Ala., Tommy, Greenwood, Ark., Judy Cantrell, Ponca City, Rick Adair, Midland, Texas, and Brenda Gail Burks, Norman; two sisters, Evelyn Shields, Hobbs, N.M. and Alene Chase, Oklahoma City; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home was in charge of services.
