Elizabeth Agee, 95, widow of Walter Q. Agee, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2013. She was born May 25, 1918 in Madison County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Charlie B. and Verdie (Womouth) Agee. Elizabeth was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Georgetown.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Troy) Lee; her son, Edwin (Janice) Agee several grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by one daughter, Fay Agee Lyons; her aunt and uncle that raised her, Sally and Fount Whitaker.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 pm at Johnson's Funeral Home, where services will be held on Friday at 11am with Pastors Andrew and Simone Twibell officiating. Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of the Bluegrass. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the loving and dedicated care provided by the entire staff of Royal Manor Nursing Home, as well as the staff of Hospice of the Bluegrass.
