Blanche was the daughter of Chris Wiuff and Cecelia Skow. She married Tom Lauck.

April 19, 1978 - Humboldt Republican - Mrs. Blanche Lauck, 70, died Saturday, April 15, at Excelsior Springs Hospital, Excelsior Springs, Mo. She was a former Humboldt resident.

Services were Tuesday in Lindhart Funeral Home with burial in Union Cemetery.

Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Ida Anderson, Fergus Falls, Minn.

Blanche Wiuff was born in the Humboldt area and attended local schools. She received nurses' training at Chicago, Illinois, and served as a registered nurse in the Philippines during World War II. She lived in Phoenix, Ariz., before moving to Excelsior Springs upon retirement.

Her husband, Tom Lauck, preceded her in death.

Casket bearers were Ed Skow, James Skow, Elliott Skow, Merlin Lindhart, Jerry Christensen, and C.J. (Skip) Wiuff. Mrs. Keith Sayers was organist and Rev. A. Wallace Olson was the officiating clergyman.
