Merlin Deats, Jr. age 50, of Bradford died Saturday, April 22, 2006 at home.
Merlin was born in Elmira, NY on August 31, 1955, to Merlin and Alberta (Krause) Deats. Merlin had been employed by Solvay Electric Company in Syracuse, NY for several years. He was a member of American Legion in Wayne, NY and the D.A.V. in Bath, NY and had served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was predeceased by his wife Claudia.
His survivors include one daughter, Heidi Mills of Phoenix, NY; a sister, Laura (John) Rooke of Bradford; two brothers, Charles (Angel) Deats of Knoxville, PA and James (Donna) Deats of Wayne, NY; several nieces and nephews; and his girlfriend, Ruth Hoosock of Bradford, NY.
Funeral Services will be held a later time to be announced. Burial will be in Tyrone Cemetery.
