Edward I. Fitzgerald, 65, of 313 N. Baldwin st., sales manager of the Roselawn Memorial Park Co. for more than 12 years, died Wednesday of a heart attack.

Born in Sauk county, Mr. Fitzgerald had been a resident of Madison for 24 years. He was a member of St. Raphael's Catholic cathedral.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Claire, Madison; and Clayton, Black Earth; three daughters, Mrs. Floyd Holman, Oshkosh; and Mrs. Ernest Sargent and Mrs. Robert Woollen, Madison; two brothers, James, Iowa; and William, Arizona; and four sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Meier, Oshkosh; Mrs. Agnes Sawyer, Milwaukee; Mrs. Hendley, Clarkston, Wash.; and Mrs. Belle Marchel, Forest Grove, Ore.

Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday in the Frautschi funeral home and at 9 in St. Raphael's cathedral. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. William Mahoney will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial park.
