WESTFIELD — Mr. Clayton E. Fitzgerald, age 67, died on Wednesday, January 24, 1979, at his residence. He was born July 19, 1911, in Wausau, WI, the son of Edward Fitzgerald and Maude St. Mary. He was a retired sheet metal worker for Capitol Aire Train Co., Madison; and a WW II veteran. He married Eleanor Linley on April 23, 1935, in Mazomanie. Survivors are his wife, Eleanor of Oxford; three daughters, Mrs. Eugene Wierzba of Schofield, Margaret Hanson of Madison, and Mrs. John Mildbrand of Wausau; a brother, Claire of Madison; two sisters, Mrs. William Snyder, and Mrs. Ernest Sargent, both of Sun Prairie; and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 27, at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Monona. Reverend Duane Moellenberndt will officiate. Burial is in Roselawn Memorial Park.
