"Dennis P. Brown, 58, of South Pine Street, Hazleton, died at his residence on Monday.
Born in Hazleton, he was the son of Dorothy (Gillespie) Brown and the late Neil Brown.
A graduate of Hazleton High School, Dennis was a member of Annunciation Parish at St. Gabriel's Church, Hazleton, and was previously employed as a car salesman. He also worked at Boscov's Department Store, Hazleton.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his father, were brothers, Michael and Timothy Brown.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his children, Aaron, Hazleton; and Heather, Sugarloaf; his brother, Neil Brown and his wife, Maryanne, Hazleton; and his sister, Patricia Stefanick and her husband, Paul, Mount Laurel, N.J. Nieces and nephews also survive.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday in St. Gabriel's Church, Hazleton.
Burial will follow in St. Gabriel's Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hazleton Animal Shelter or Annunciation Parish at St. Gabriel's Church, Hazleton, would be appreciated by the family.
