Dorothy Brown, 94, previously of North Wyoming Street, Hazleton, died
Saturday morning at St. Luke Pavilion, Hazleton.
Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth
(Balliet) Gillespie.
Dorothy was a graduate of Hazleton High School and was a member of
Annunciation Parish at St. Gabriel's Church, Hazleton.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, Neil; sons Michael, Timothy, and Dennis Brown; and a sister, Katherine Bognet.
Surviving are her son, Neil Brown, and his wife, Maryanne, McAdoo; her daughter, Patricia Stefanick, and her husband, Paul, Mount Laurel, N.J.; and grandchildren, Aaron and Heather Brown and Derek and Danielle Stefanick. Nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
The funeral will be held at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday from the Boyle Funeral home, 100 S. Wyoming St., Hazleton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Gabriel's Church, Hazleton. Burial will be in St. Gabriel's Cemetery, Hazleton.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Tuesday.
