Marion E. Ricketts, aged 77 years, of Kennard, one of the best known and early residents of that place, died at one o'clock Friday after an illness of several months. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. D. L. Coates, and two brothers, Oliver, of Indianapolis, and Mark, who lives in Wyoming. Mrs. J. B. Ulrich, of Kennard, and Mrs. Al Sherry, of New Castle, are nieces, and M. W. Kessler, of Kennard, is a nephew. Funeral was held at the house at 10 o'clock Sunday morning. Interment in Glencove cemetery."
