Alfonsio Sr. was born on October 28, 1959 in Blackton, Arkansas to Robert Griggs and Rowena Scott.
He grew up in Kansas City, Missouri where he attended Central Senior High School.
Alfonsio Sr. was preceded in death by his loving mother, Rowena Scott, and his brother, Tony Pride.
Alfonsio Sr. is survived by his father, Robert Griggs of Stuttgart Arkansas; his daughters Monique Moore (William), Alfonsia N. Scott, Shayla T. Hill; his sons Alfonsio Scott Jr. and Van Bolton; his sister Ruthie Wade; his brothers Edward Scott and Lee Griggs; his niece Pearl Wade, and his nephews Ricky Wade, Benny Wade, Levar Hill (Shauntae), Rashad Hill (Terri), and a host of other relatives and friends.
