He was born on 8/23/1948 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Son of Margaret (Micki) Aderholdt and Altman Lee Aderholdt the first non Indian child born in Hollywood, Florida. He graduated Palm Manor private High School and briefly attended college in Orlando, before enlisting in the Navy for four years. While in the Navy, he received the National Defense Service Medal and Medal of Good Conduct.
Mr. Aderholdt was president of Ace Lawn Maintenance and Landscaping before becoming disabled in 1989. He frequently hired recovering addicts that were in re-entry from Here's Help Spectrum House (which was dedicated to his father's memory). He also served on the board of directors for the Starting Place for 17 years.
Lee is survived by his loving wife Judy Traxler Aderholdt; brother of Dania, FL; two sisters, predeceased by sister Ernestine Cobb (Ricki); nieces Kimberly and Kathy; great nephew Sean; great niece Dawn; and cousin Bryan Harr. Also surviving are a nephew and niece.
Services will be held from the Menorah Gardens and Funeral Chapel in S.W. Ranches, FL on Tuesday 3/30/2004 at 2:00 pm with entombment to follow.
