Anna Belle (Watson) Ford passed away unexpectedly at 4:40 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at the Luther Manor Nursing Center in Hannibal. She attended rural schools near Frankford. Anna lived all her life in the Vandalia and rural Frankford area. After school, Anna worked for seven years at the International Shoe Factory. She later worked another eight years at the Bobbie Brooks Garment Factory in Vandalia, where she retired from. She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Vandalia since 1989. At church, she helped with Sunday school and church dinners. Anna enjoyed ceramics, attending garage sales, embroidery, flowers and square dancing. She enjoyed feeding her birds around the house and her pet cockatiel "Buster." Anna especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Born: May 13, 1922 near Frankford, Missouri the daughter of Samuel Albert and Elsie Belle (Walsinger) Watson.

Married: William Edward Ford in Bowling Green on December 31, 1942; he preceded her in death on December 8, 2004.

Survivors include: three sons: James Edward Ford and wife Carolyn; Gary Lee Ford and wife Donna Rae; Dennis Dale Ford and wife Deborah; grandchildren: Carman Ford; Kevin Ford and wife Mary; Kyle Ford and wife Michelle; Chad Ford and wife Leigh Anne; Melissa Shaffer; Rebecca Martinez and husband Adam; two brothers: Henry Watson and wife Kathleen; Albert Watson and wife Donna; two sisters: Viola Hilt; Melba Hamilton; also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by: parents; husband, William Edward; one brother, Samuel Wayne Watson; five sisters: Helen Lavina Gilbert, Mae Josephine Miller, Alice Bernice Watson, Emma Irene Fitzpatrick and Wilma Kathaleen Watson.

Memorials are encouraged to the Southside Baptist Church in Vandalia.
