A native of Tampa, Florida, she was born May 11, 1928 to Abraham David Hunt and Sara Myrtle Counts Hunt.
Employed as a waitress at Dairy Queen, Mrs. Morris was a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church.
Services were July 14 at Moore-Cortner Chapel with the Rev. Leon Williams and the Rev. Floyd Miles officiating. Burial was in Franklin Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include her husband, G. Floyd Morris of Winchester; two daughters, Portia Evans and Debbie Vincent, both of Estill Springs; a son, Ricky Morris of McMinnville; three sisters, Frances Torbitt of Sale Creek, Tennessee, Alline Alonso of Tampa, Florida, and Marie Karrpa of Austin, Texas; two brothers, A. D. Hunt, Sr. of Merawz, Louisiana, and Marvin A. Hunt of O'Brien, Florida; and two grandchildren.
