Dr. Douglas S. Price, Jr., of Danville passed away March 14, 2009 at the University of NC Hospital, in Chapel Hill, NC. Born February 22, 1958 in Lynchburg, he was the son of Douglas S. Price, Sr. Jean Sexton Price. He was married to Rebecca Bradley Price.
He graduated from Gretna High School, received a B. S. Degree in Chemistry from Hampden-Sydney College and was awarded a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the Medical College of VA . He began practicing dentistry at the Family Dental Practice in Chatham in 1988. He was a member of the Piedmont Dental Society and the Pittsylvania-Danville Chamber of Commerce. He was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church.
He is also survived by two daughters, Haley and Laura Price; stepmother, Dawn Price; a sister, Deborah Moran.
Interment will be in Highland burial Park.
