Rosary for Justo Arriaga, 85, of Rupert, who died Saturday, March 5, at a Rupert hospital, will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday in Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Caldwell, by Father Gerald Funke. Interment will follow in Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.
He was born April 6, 1897, at Mendeja, Viscaya, Spain. In 1916, he came to the United States and settled in Eastern Idaho where he worked in the sheep business at Pocatello and Rupert until his retirement. He had lived at Rupert since his retirement. He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Rupert.
He is survived by two brothers, Manuel Arriaga of Caldwell and Pedro M. Arriaga of Spain, and several nieces and nephews.
