Everett Lindsey died at age 76 on Monday, March 31, 2003, at Rehab and Care Center of Jackson County.
He was born in Gorham on February 3, 1927, the son of Henry Oscar "Dutch" and Hattie Brown Lindsey.
He married Doris Born in Wolf Lake on November 26, 1948.
He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Sherry Heller of De Soto; two brothers, Charles Lindsey of De Soto and Meryl Lindsey of Centralia; one sister, Wilma Porter of Murphysboro; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Michael Lindsey, one brother, and two sisters.
Mr. Lindsey was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II.
