Mrs. Thelma F. Coats, 96, of Frederick, Md., died Sunday, June 18, 2006 at the home of her grandson. She was the wife of the late Harold K. Coats.

Born March 27, 1910 in Morgantown, W. Va., she was the daughter of the late William and Laura B. Sisler Deavers.

Mrs. Coats attended Victory Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading, gardening and canning.

She is survived by her son Alan Liller of Cumberland; her daughter Emma Jean Coats of Las Vegas, Nev.; eight grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
