She is survived by her daughter, Beverly; and son, Jerry. She is also survived by one sister, one brother, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great- great- grandchild. Marjorie was the consummate wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She provided a loving home and a solid foundation for meaningful lives for her three children. She cared for her ailing husband with love and compassion until the very end of his own life. Known for her delicious homemade bread; the enjoyment she found in a good book; and her love of travel, especially to the United Kingdom; she brightened the lives of many. Her optimistic outlook on life was exemplified when she would often say, "I'm not afraid of dying. I'm curious to find out what happens and I look forward to being with Jack and Sue." She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Services will be held this Friday, June 5 at the Smith & Turner Mortuary, 201 E. Main in Yukon, OK at 2 p.m. All are welcome to come and celebrate Marjorie's life.
