Gaynell Louise Burch, age 82 of Connersville, went to be with the Lord on Friday May 22, 2015 in her home surrounded by her family.
Born on October 3, 1932 in Greensburg, Indiana she is the daughter of the late Roy Crawley and Mary Purcell Crawley.
She was a member of Lakeview Pentecostal Church.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, going to church, reading her Bible and listening to gospel music.
She retired from Ford Electronics in 1997 after 28 years of service.
She is survived by three daughters, Delilah Pauline Harris and husband Leonard of Connersville, Deborah Sue Gray and husband Johnny of Laurel and Angela French and husband Jerry of Alpine; a son Ottis Burch and wife Mary of Alpine; a brother Robert Crawley and wife Becky of Alquina; sister, Florence Robinson of Connersville; sisters in law, Phyllis Crawley of Falmouth and Ulene Crawley of Laurel; brother and sister in law, Ilene and Donny Madden of Laurel; ten grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren and seven great great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Burch, who died March 2, 1997.
She is also preceded by a son, Daniel Burch; two brothers, Virgil Crawley and Leroy Crawley; and a sister, Marcella Selby.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday May 27, 2015 at 11:00 am at Lakeview Pentecostal Church with Rev. Henry Weaver officiating.
Burial will follow at Laurel North Cemetery.
Friends and family may visit at the church on Tuesday evening from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Urban Winkler Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
