She was baptized 4 April 1809 at St Mary Whittlesey, daughter of Joseph Woodhead and Amy Pringle. She married James Doggett on 21 August 1833 at St George in the East. They were married by banns in the presence of Thos Holwell and Mary Woodhead.

Occupation 1: 1871, Retired Dairy Farmer
Occupation 2: 1881, Annuitant. Widow
Residence 1: 1841, Shacklewell Green, St John Hackney
Residence 2: 1851, Doggett's Yard, West Hackney
Residence 3: 1861, Shacklewell Road, St John Hackney
Residence 4: 1871, Shacklewell Green, Hackney until husband's death then 5, Angel Buildings, Jesus Road, Edmonton at the census
Residence 5: Aft. 1871, New Road, Lower Edmonton
Residence 6: 1881, 22 West Street, Bromley. Living with married daughter
In the 1851 census Eleanor has visiting her a Mary Ward, widow, aged 47, independent (means) born Cambridgeshire. I think this was probably her sister who witnessed her wedding in 1833.

Eleanor's Will was proved on 10 October 1883 in the following terms:

"The Will of Eleanor Doggett formerly of New Road Lower Edmonton in the County of Middlesex but late of West Street Bromley in the County of Kent Widow who died 9 September 1883 at West Street was proved at the Principal Registry by Samuel Lewis Whittingham of Hawley Square Margate in the County of Kent the sole Executor."

Her effects were valued at £196 7s 9d or about £81,000 at 2002 prices. Samuel Lewis Whittingham of Margate was a retired draper who was born in Islington in 1828 and as far as I can tell he was no relative.

Eleanor was buried on 14 September 1883 at Abney Park
