Bessie Jane (Getz) Hedrick, 95, of Cabins, died Dec. 11, at Davis Memorial Hospital, Elkins.

Born March 8, 1910, in Pansy, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Getz and Ida Susan (Shreve) Getz.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl W. Hedrick in 1969; two sons: William K. Hedrick and Don A. Hedrick; two daughters, Delores J. Hedrick and Nila J. Hedrick; four grandchildren, infant twin grandsons, Ronnie W. Hedrick and Linda Jean Cook VanMeter; one infant great-great grandson, Edward Glenn Hall; four sisters, infant Mabel Getz, Dora Belle Mortzfeldt, Emma Brown and Rosa Alt; three brothers, Charles Getz, Glenn Getz and Olie Getz; three half brothers, Moses Getz, George Getz and Jacob Getz; and three half sisters: Minnie Getz, Myrtle Yokum and Delia Hesse.

She is survived by one son, Robert W. Hedrick of Montrose; four daughters, Joyce Day of Riverton, Nancy Pint of Grass Lake, Mich., Patricia Judy of Lahmansville and Naomi Phares Goldizen of Cabins; two brothers, Ray Getz of Ridgeley and Harry Getz of Petersburg; 26 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral is was Dec. 14, at 11 a.m., at the Schaeffer Funeral Home chapel, with interment in the Burgess Cemetery, Maysville.
