DIES ATHOSPITAL
Vernon, May 15—Fred Kessler,
esteemed resident of Tilden Hill,
practically life long resident, died
Sunday afternoon at a Rome hospital,
where he had been a patient
for the past two weeks, following
an accident in which he sustained
a broken arm, although he had
been in ill health for some time.
He was born at West Leyden on
July 21, 1869, a son of John and
Christina Wickman. By occupation
he was a farmer. On October 20,
1907, he married Miss Clara Eastman,
who passed away in June
1943.
He is survived by one brother,
Adam Kessler, Rome, and several
nephews and nieces.
The body was removed to the
Alger Funeral Home here where
services win be held on Wednesday
at 1:30 p. m. Friends are invited
and may call at the Funeral Home
on Tuesday afternoon from 3 to 5
and 7 to 9 p. m. The Rev. George
Pilbeam, Westmoreland, will officiate
and interment will be at
Lowell.
