Lou "LC" Green, 94, of Russellville, died Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Legacy Heights Nursing Home in Russellville.
The son of Ab and Minnie Brinkley Green, he was born February 20, 1921 in Cherry Valley.
He was a member of the Calvary Temple Assembly of God. LC was an entrepreneur at heart and owned his own business for many years.
He was preceded in death by his wife Alice Green; his parents; a daughter, Brenda True; a brother and sister.
Survivors include two sons, Jack Ralph Green (Glenda) of Tahlequah, OK, Ricky Green (Connie) of Pottsville, two daughters Ruth Buckman (John) of Russellville, Janice Hawkins of Gentry; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Rest Haven Memorial Park; burial to follow by Humphrey Funeral Service. Reverends Devoe Campbell and Donald Harris will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
