A Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Thursday, March 6, 2008, in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Aloha for Morella Isabella Pfeifer, who died March 3 at age 89.
Recitation of the rosary will precede the Mass at 11:30 a.m., also in the church.
Morella Isabella Staab was born Feb. 22, 1919, in Hays, Kan.
She moved in 1940 to Portland, and was a grocery checker for R & R Food Market for 20 years and later for Albertson's.
In 1936, she married Peter J. Pfeifer; he died in 1998.
Survivors include her sons, Garnis, Stanley and Garth; brothers, Marcel Staab and Melvin Staab; sisters, Anita Weber and Norma Gregory; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Another son, Darius, died in 2004.
