Marjorie was born in Texas, one of 6 children born to Henry Richard and Otha Melvina (Elam) Harrelson.
She was raised in Missouri and attended schools in Missouri.
She married Charles “Chuck” Edward Miller in Prineville, Oregon in 1945. Chuck and Marjorie and her family ran a commercial fishing business in Kenai, Alaska. She was a housewife and was involved with running the family business for 50 years.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Charles; two sons: Richard Miller and David Miller and four siblings: Wayne Harrelson, W.C. "Bill" Harrelson, Thelma Scalf and Bonnie Turner.
She is survived by two daughters Joyce (Cary) Summers of Turlock, California and Carol (Eldon) Rayborn of Oregon; one sibling Marvin Harrelson of Sedalia, Missouri; and 21 grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at Connecting Point Nazarene Church, 3200 E. Monte Vista Avenue in Denair, California on Saturday, May 30th at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the Compassion Ministry of the Nazarene Church.
