Marjorie B. Bigby, age 58, of Carrollton, Missouri, passed away Monday, April 9, 2012 at her home. Marjorie was born December 5, 1953 in Carrollton, Missouri, the daughter of Herbert Carter and Annabell Lyles. She attended Carrollton schools and graduated from Carrollton High School in 1972. Marjorie had worked for Orbseal in Richmond, Missouri. She was a member of the Wayland Temple in Marshall, Missouri. Survivors include one sister, Isabelle Arrington, Kansas City, Missouri; two brothers, Donald Bigby, Chillicothe, Missouri; Randy Bigby, Memphis, Tennessee; many cousins and nephews and nieces. Her parents, three sisters, Dorothy Bigby, Betty Bigby, Thelma Wayland, three brothers, Roy Bigby, Charles Bigby, and Rowdie Bigby, preceded her in death. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri, with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton, Missouri. The family suggests contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association in memory of Marjorie. They may be left at or mailed to Gibson Funeral Home, 201 S. Main, Carrollton MO 64633.
