Mrs. Sue Rigsby passed peacefully September 27, 2023, at the residence of her daughter in Glencoe, Alabama at the age of 91. She was born June 5, 1932, in Blount County, Alabama to Gussie and Annie Ruby Adams.

Sue went to Susan Moore High School. She was the loving wife to Jack Rigsby, who predeceased her in 2011, a devoted mother to her daughter, a loving grandmother to her only grandson, and a doting great-grandmother to her only great-granddaughter.

Sue was a seamstress at Blue Bell MFG in Arab for a number of years. She loved being a housewife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved to cook for anyone, and she loved to garden. She found her peace in her garden. She was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church.

Sue was predeceased by her husband, Jack Rigsby; her parents, Gussie and Annie Adams; brothers, Donald Adams, Fred Adams, and Eugene Adams.

Surviving her is her daughter and husband, grandson and his partner, great-granddaughter, sisters, brother, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Her funeral was at Holly Pond Funeral Home September 30, 2023, at 2 p.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Arab Memorial Cemetery in Arab, Alabama.
