Lucianita "Lucy" C de Baca, age 90, a resident of Algodones, NM, passed away peacefully at her home, Monday, May 18, 2015, after a very short illness.
Lucianita was born in Golden, NM on March 1, 1925 to the late Luciano and Dolores "Lola" Baldonado.
Lucianita was preceded in death by her husband, Tony C de Baca Sr., her sister, Ella García, brothers, Mauricio Baldonado, Ramon Baldonado and Pat Baldonado and a very special friend, Guadalupe López.
Lucy is survived by her only son "the love of her life", Tony C de Baca Jr. and his wife, Lina of Algodones, NM, her grandchildren, Carol Annette Sandoval and husband, Victor of Algodones, Matthew C de Baca and his wife, Bernadette of Albuquerque, her great-grandchildren, Christopher Chávez Sr., Montana and Toby C de Baca, her great-great-grandchildren, Cruzito and Christopher "CJ" Chávez Jr., as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
Lucy will be greatly missed by all.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family - Alameda Mortuary, 9420 Fourth St. NW, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 S. Camino del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM. Interment will follow at the Algodones Community Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Abel Baldonado, Christopher Chávez, Victor Sandoval, Orlando Lucero, Montana C de Baca and Toby C de Baca. Honorary Bearers will be Cruzito Chávez and CJ Chávez.
